My new Mini-Mac!

It has been months, maybe even years, that I've longed for a better Mac, studying possibilities on CraigsList, reading up on what is affordable on the Apple Store.  So with some savings and most of my Christmas gift money, when my old computer was truly dying, I ordered a refurbished 2014 Mini-Mac.  Tonight Jeff set it up! Just going about ten days with no internet access was hard on me, for I like being part of this bigger world.  A few things seem lost, like my old Bookmarks, but I still have my documents here and in Word.  I feel so grateful for this new beginning, and look forward to exploring, creating, and sharing with all of you.  And I especially am grateful to Jeff for his time and expertise tonight helping me launch this new-to-me computer.  I think her name shall be Marvelous Mighty Mini-Mac, or Mighty Mac for short.  We've waited a long time to be together, and some dreams do come true! Hopefully some of yours are coming true, too!

Wisdom from the Runes

Today I drew Eihwaz, reminding me that patience is in order, not lusting after a desired outcome.
What appears to be an obstacle may mean a delay is beneficial rather than overly eagerness to press forward.  It is a time to clear clutter in earnest.  To wait on a newer computer for now, make the time daily for meditation and gentle exercise, choices that minimize stress.
" This may well be a trying time.  Certainly it will be a meaningful one."  Set my home in order, tend to business that promotes healthy choices, don't take on too much.
The moon in the predawn hours shone bright and clear, reminding me of the feminine light, constant and supportive, even when the way is not yet clear. Snow remains despite the current thaw.  It is still winter, a time for being patient, gathering support, taking the time for introspection too.
