It's a New Day-Let us Rejoice in it!

It's a new day.  Just reading another blogger, he states
"  Last night a group of us kindred spirits watched a webinar regarding an "alternative orthodoxy".  One of the presenters was Richard Rohr and he made a very intriguing point regarding one of the pillars of conventional orthodoxy, The Nicene Creed ( he did credit the point to a question asked him by a student) .  He stated that not once in this primary document of the Christian faith is the word, Love, used.  Interesting! "
What if love is breaking out in dance with an old friend who has never been interested in conformity of any kind? What if love is a sweet visit  from one's daughters where it's magical just being together, and the wonder of seeing them emerge into such awesome young women, unafraid to be adventuresome in ways I could never have done in my twenties?   What if love is bursting forth in song, "It's wonderful, It's marvelous, that you should care for me?"  And so I do, as I look in the mirror, seeing a sleepy face with a big smile.
What if love is disarming our hearts, saying yes to being more open, less predictable?
Let us rejoice, for the day is new, and wonder lies ahead when we let go our routines, and let life unfold.  The skies may be cloudy and grey, and that's life, too.  May we all find ways to connect with our own creativity, whether it be assembling a picnic lunch with a friend,  dancing just because it feels good, writing a blog with no idea where it's going.  Trusting in this moment, there shall be magic!  Part of love is honoring the creativity we all have in our unique ways, and not stifling it with judgment.  May there be peace in Earth, and let lt begin when we reach out with love, gathering all our courage to trust the Mystery!
